Once apon a time there was a girl named Amelia. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona. She had beautiful wavy brunnette hair with a light skin tone. She had many friends and was known by all people. She was a true city girl. Moved a lot as a child. Her dad was a polotician and her mom was a T.V. talk show host. I guess you can say Amelia had it made in the fame industry. She had one of the greatest voices in her high school and had every single main role was basically hers. Everyone knew her or wished they were in her shoes. She must have been pretty happy right? Well, something was missing in Amelias life....

Once apon a time there was a boy named Blake. He lived in _____, Missouri. He had blonde short scruffy hair, big coral blue eyes, and wieghed 130 lbs. He was a true country boy. He has never moved before in his life. He has been in the same house, same people, same dogs, same exact spot. He loved it. He didn't have all the friends and wasn't known by many. He was just a regular guy who went to school, had a job, then went home to help his family. He was a singer,a guitarist, and a drummer. It was his way of just getting his negative feelings out. It wasn't just a hobby it was a passion. He was humble and simple but, something was still missing....

"But..oh..those summer nights!" Of course, Amelia had the lead as Sandy in her school musical Grease. "Cut cut cut!" Shouted their director Mr. Rose. "I want you to go home, get infront of a mirror and use SHOW FACE!" He threw his hands in the air and lifted his head under the spot light acting as if he was god or something. Amelia got off the picnic table she was standing on, got her bag and walked to the west parking lot.
She heard running not too far behind her. "Amelia wait up!" She turned around to see her best friends Joey and Brad running toward her. Joey was Jonny Casino and Brad was Roger in the cast. "Brad and I were wondering if you wanted to go out for a shake or something and then work on our Triganometry homework.." Joey said with his hands in his front pockets like a little 5th grader asking his crush to swing with him. Joey has long brown curly hair. He had the jew fro without the jew Amelia always said. He had a wide smile with the whitest teeth Amelia has ever seen with almond shaped brown eyes. Joey really liked Amelia, and she knew that. She didn't want to be anything more than friends and he knew that but couldn't help himself. "Yeah like, you know, you never hang with us anymore and we miss you." Brad said confessing. Brad had short brown hair with a narrow smile. He was known for his freakishly large head and his new 6 pack rock hard abs. Brad and Amelia went out for about 6 months at the beginning of the year but it didn't last because they realized they were just friends. Brad and Amelia have been best friends since the 3rd grade and they have always been inseperable. Everyone knew Amelia, Brad, and Joey as the 3 musketeers because they used to always be together. "Sorry guys, I just want to go home today ok? We will hang out another day after rehearsal..besides, I need to go practice my SHOW FACE!" She mimiced Mr. Rose throwing her hands in the air. The boys laughed. "You always say that Amelia, and you never do in the end." Brad said in a more serious tone, not one she was used to hearing. "Yeah like, we just want to see you and hang with you like the old days." Joey said with his hands still in his pockets. He couldn't look at her in the eyes anymore, it hurt to much knowing that they would never be more than friends. "I know I haven't been hanging lately. How about this, this weekend, just us 3 all weekend! Ok?" She smiled trying to make them feel better, she just really didn't want to have anything to do with people at the moment. "Promise?" They both said at the same time. "Promise." They did their 3 way handshake, gave them both hugs and separated. She hopped in her car, turned her key in and just sat there. Tears ran down her face and she just cried, just like she did everyday.

"Have a nice day." Blake told his last customer of the night. He turned off his cashier light and put his 'next aisle please' sign up. He took off his wallmart apron and name tag was was getting ready to finally head home. "Done for the day Blake?" Mark his co worker had to be in his late 40s with red hair slowly going gray. He had tattoos and pericings everywhere and was very out of the ordinary. But he had a huge heart and was loved by every staff member. "Yup, I'm all done here. Gonna head home and catch up on sleep!" Blake worked the night shift all the time. He needed the money for his family and for his attempt to save up for college. Blake had the pure southern accent but was still clear to hear and understand. He always got compliments by the costumers for having a great speaking voice. He cleaned up his station said goodbye to the staff and walked to his car. Right when he walked out the doors, his fake smile faded. He opened the door to his car, turned it on and started driving slowly. He had to stop because he couldn't see what was infront of him, his tears blocked the road. So there he sat, just crying, just like he did everyday.

Amelia drove home listening to random music stations trying to really concentrate on the beat of the songs and not worry at all about life itself. She didn't think about rehearsal, friends, family, homework, nothing. She just tried to block herself from the world once again. It worked for the time being. But then she got home....
Amelia lived in a big house up one the biggest mountains in Phoenix. No one really knew about her home because she didn't show her lifestyle outside of school to anyone but her friends, and they are the last people to brag thank goodness. Her yard was white house material as was the house itself. It was big, spacious, elegant, basically what everyone else but her wanted. It was just a home to her, and she almost hated coming to it. It seemed like there was no little tight places she could just be in. Everything around her was so out there and over done she did not enjoy being at home. But she just kept on telling herself, 2 more years, 2 more years, 2 more years. Only 2 years and she was out of there ready to live her own life.

Once Amelia got home she took out her notebook and tried to work on her homework. She felt hungry so went into the kitchen and made herself a sandwhich with lemonade. She ate that slowly thinking of nothing but the sanwhich. Annalyzing ever bite she chewed. After that she realized she needed to do laundry, so she did a few loads slowly and carefully. She made her bed, fed her dogs Beauty and Beast, folded her laundry and neatly put it into her drawers, made herself some tea and finally went back into her seat where her folders and notebooks filled with homework lied. She picked them up and began with Advanced Physics. She sat there, staring at the questions infront of her, not knowing even what was written down. She just looked down. She looked back up and shook her head out and her eyes then pointed to her computer. She decided to take a short break from homework even though that had already been done and short wasn't the right term for it and she knew that. But she got up, got her new laptop her dad and mom just bought for her and decided to surf the web. She checked her myspace profile, she had nothing there. She checked her youtube videos her and her friends had put up, still nothing. So she decided to go onto facebook. She had nothing but one request. She clicked the button and her friend Joey had sent her something about a new application called 'Social Me.' She decided to just click on it because she can and had nothing better to do.
Once she was inside she noticed it was like some sort of chat thing. People tagged you if they thought you were pretty or good looking. It was basically a place to flirt with random strangers. Amelia looked around in the room. She saw people from all around the globe. Turns out a lot of people knew about this application. Suddenly, her rate button was flashing saying she had 2 new rates. She had no idea what it meant so she clicked on it. It meant 2 people had just tagged her. One called her "gorgeous" and the other said she had "pretty eyes." She almost laughed at the fact that she just got complimented by 2 guys just by looking at some random picture of her she chose to put on her facebook account, but at the same time she kind of liked it. She liked the feeling of being looked at. Being the gorgeous one with pretty eyes. So, she thanked them. They said your welcome and invited her to talk. She did. And this continued all night long.

Blake drove home like he always did with his country music blasting in his red ford truck. He lost all train of thought with the music making his ears cry for help. He liked it. He liked the feeling of not being in the moment. Sure he concentrated on driving but his mind was weak everytime he got in the car. But once he got back home and took out the keys, his mind was back on and he just moaned as he got out of the car. Blake lived in a little trailer in the middle of his small town. It was small, simple, easy, and he liked it. He never lived anywhere else so this was all he knew of in life. He thought this was the place for him. When he would walk out of his car there would be little chickens running across his feet with his dogs greeting him.

"Hey hunny, how was work?" His mom said as she chopped onions in the kitchen as he walked into the door. "It was fine thanks," He lied. He didn't like working at Wall Mark as a cashier. It hurt his back standing there all day and it was just a boring thing to do for hours and hours a day. But he figured, if it got money in his pocket, he would have to just deal with it. "Well, I'm making soup tonight. It should be done in about a half an hour and.." Blake couldn't handle all the talking. He didn't even know what she was talking about. "Sorry mom, I'm not very hungry tonight. I think I'm just gonna skip it and hang in my room tonight." He took off his badge and messed up his hair a little bit to make himself feel more at home. "Ok hun, more for your father and I. You doin' ok?" She had the typical worried look on her face Blake saw a lot on her lately. "Look sweety, if you are missing Liz, I understand. And maybe she can take you back..." Just hearing that name made it feel like smoke was coming out of his ears. "Mom! I do not miss Liz! I never will miss Liz! She is history so can we please stop bringing her up!" Before he could see his mothers reaction he was already in his room with the door slammed shut behind him.

Liz was his ex girlfriend. He was undeniably in love with her and he made his life complete. They went out for 6 months, 17 days, and 21 hours. Yes, he kept track. He had never been so happy with anyone else in his whole life and he thought she was the one. But after a terrible break up he was never the same person. He was always frowning and never had the same look on his face like he used to. He felt alone and loney but at the same time he didn't want to be near anyone. He was never a people person in the first place but now everyone reminds him of her and it kills him every single day. Blakes mom will not let this go. She loved Liz too, she felt like she was part of the family. She was always telling Blake to get back together with her but everytime he heard her name now anger would rage in his mind and sweat would constantly run down the sides of his long thin face. He never wanted to think about her again but at the same time he never wanted to forget her.

Blake needed to get him mind off her. He played some guitar hero, practiced his accoustic guitar, watched some music videos and pet his dogs. He had nothing left to do without leaving his room. He refused to walk out all night. He noticed his computer was already on so he got up from his bed sat in his rather uncomfortable rolling desk chair and hopped onto his gateway desktop computer. He had both myspace and a facebook for absolutely no reason. He checked them every now and then but he never expected anything to be new from friends. Myspace killed him the most. He looked at his comments and see all the old love notes Liz would send to him so he just didn't go on there. He hopped onto facebook not expecting anything. He had afew unread unneeded messages and then one request from his friend clay. It was something about a new application called 'Social Me.' Blake had no idea what it was so he just decided to click on it. He had nothing better to do. So he clicked in and noticed that it was some weird chat thing. He understood it right from the get-go. He knew what to do and instead of getting tagged, he chose to tag. He saw some really beautiful girls on there and they really got his attention away from Liz. He told them that they were beautiful and stunning and lovely and cute and so much more. He got thanked a few times and had some awesome conversations. He got tagged a few times as well being called "a stunner" and "a ten out of 10" and he liked it. He figured nothing really great was going to happen out of this so he just kept on browsing. He looked and he looked and he tagged more and more and more then all of the sudden he stopped. He took his hand off the mouse and stared at what he just landed on...
Probably the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life. Her eyes were beautiful, her face was flawless, her smile was breathtaking, she was perfect. He did even look at her name. He was so deep into this girls beauty that he didn't know what to do with himself. He wanted to tag her but he was scared of the outcome. There was a button she could press called "Slap" and his heart would probably break just a bit more than it already is. He figured he would give it a try. He tagged her saying "You are the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my whole life." He felt like it was too corny but it was the honest truth. He pressed send holding his breath, not doing anything. Just sitting there, seeing if maybe, just maybe, she would reply...

Amelia was starting to get sick of this site. It was all lust and full of lonley desperate men calling her sexy or whatever. It seemed sick and she was getting ready to just close the window. But then she realized she got one more rating. She wasn't looking foreward to another sick guy complimenting her but when she read what it said her heart sank a little bit. She read it outloud to make sure she wasn't just imagining this. "You are the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my whole life..." She said with her jaw remaining open in shock. But she shook her head thinking 'Is this just a joke?' and 'Is he just being corny because he can be?' She really didn't know. She was tempted to just slap him and get it over with. But when she saw his picture she dazed off into a world of beauty as well. His calm beautiful face with his big beautiful solid blue eyes put her in a trance. She shook it off and decided to just thank him. She pressed the thank you button fast hoping maybe he was still online. So there she sat and waiting for a reply.

To be continued....
